Park in Olive Hill, Kentucky on October 8, 2010.  Hidden Cove was recently rated the 6th best course in the state of Kentucky.  The outing will start an 8 a.m. registration and 9  a.m. shotgun start.  This year’s outing will be a 4-man scramble format and believe us when we say you will need everyone's shots on this course.  

Proceeds will go toward the Huntington Post Scholarship Fund, Engineering Career Day, Explorers Post, the Marshall Student Post and the Education and Training Fund established to promote and strengthen young member’s participation in the Post.

Activities for the day will begin with an 8:00 am registration and a continental breakfast will be provided from 7:30 am – 9:00 am.  Play will tee-off with a 9:00 am Shotgun Start.  A hotdog/hamburger lunch will be provided during the outing and prize drawing will immediately follow the golf scramble.

We would like to invite your company to participate as a sponsor and participant.  This is a great opportunity to promote your company and its products and services to area professionals and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel in our region.  To make this event a success, we need your support.  Indicate your interest as a breakfast sponsor, hole sponsor and/or a door prize contributor on the attached form (Hole sponsorship will be on a first come basis).  Door prizes should include, but are not limited to, logo golf shirts and towels, golf balls, putters, clubs or gift certificates for golf and food.  In addition, we are planning to provide grab bags for at least 80 participants.  The grab bags may include corporate logo golf tees, golf balls, ball markers, green tools, accessory packs, etc.

Since this is a Huntington Post sponsored event, our goal is to encourage interaction among the A-E community and the Corps of Engineers.  Teams will be assigned based on handicaps and we will attempt to place one or more Corps employees in each foursome.
