Plans are underway for the 9^th Annual Scholarship and Training Fund Golf Outing hosted by the Huntington Post, Society of American Military Engineers.  The Scramble will be October 7^th, 2011 at Hidden Cove Golf Course at Grayson Lake State Park near Grayson, KY.  Proceeds will go toward the Huntington Post Scholarship Fund, Engineering Career Day, Explorers Post, the Marshall Student Post and the Education and Training Fund established to promote and strengthen young member’s participation in the Post.

Activities for the day will begin with a 7:00 am registration and coffee and donuts will be provided from 7:00am – 8:00 am.  Play will tee-off with an 8:30 a.m. Shotgun Start.  A hotdog/hamburger lunch will be provided during the outing and prize drawing will immediately follow the golf scramble.

Since this is a Huntington Post sponsored event, our goal is to encourage interaction among the A-E community and the Corps of Engineers.  Teams will be assigned based on handicaps and we will attempt to place one or more Corps employees in each foursome.
